“Difficulties pile up difficulties as most travel businesses already have debts with banks and almost unable to pay in the current period. Thousands of advanced bookings cancelled due to COVID-19 have caused temporary unemployment of thousands of workers. That situation has significantly affected the operation of Da Nang Travel Association over the past time!” – Mr. Doan Hai Dang – Chairman of Danang Travel Association for the second term said.
Travel businesses need to change to adapt to the new situation.
The change of the world situation forces the businesses to change to adapt to the epidemic. At the meeting, a representative of DTA said that the Association would make great efforts to support its member businesses to operate effectively in the upcoming time.
The first is about human resources – one of the top concerns of businesses when returning to operation. The second is about technology – a trend that requires investment since travel businesses in Da Nang still have limitations in this field.
The congress closed successfully with a new Executive Committee consisting of 23 members, in which Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh – Director of OMEGA Tourism Company Limited was elected as the Association’s Chairman.
