168 individuals were transported to Da Nang on flight VN122, which took off from Tan Son Nhat airport in HCMC. This is the first flight in a plan to transport more than 600 Da Nang residents to their homes from the epidemic area of Ho Chi Minh City.
VITRACO Transport and Tourism Joint Company has sponsored free transportation for people from the airport to hotels to quarantine, working with the Citizens’s Committee of Danang City and Da Nang people from the epidemic area to their hometown.
During the movement, everyone, including the VITRACO driving team, is required to wear protective clothing in order to avoid and control epidemics. People are encouraged to file a medical statement as soon as they arrive at Da Nang airport, then board a bus to quarantine in accommodations provided by the city.The Da Nang Department of Tourism has set up hotels with health-related amenities. These hotels have been set up by the health sector to serve as centralized medical quarantine sites in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
In this phase, all residents will be free of charge for accommodation, only paying for meals and living expenses according to the regulations on concentrated quarantine.
